Youth Ages 7-12

After learning the fundamentals of dance, youth classes continue to develop their skills and practice additional training as they progress through a higher level class. New students with previous dance experience may also be accepted to more advanced level classes after being evaluated by an instructor.

Level 2 Ballet: ​In this class, ballet students will focus on building the strength, flexibility and control needed to execute classical ballet moves. Each class will emphasize barre exercises and may also include a combination of center floor work and across-the-floor combinations.

Level 2 Tap: Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles and exercises that focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. The class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun.​

Level 2 Jazz: This beginner to intermediate Jazz class will focus on learning proper ​dance technique such as isolation's of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz to help develop a well-rounded dancer.
